On Friday, June 6th 2008, took place the 45th meeting of JCSS (Joint Committee on Structural Safety). After thirty years, the JCSS brought together European experts in the domain of reliability of structures and management of risks. This meeting resulted in creation of guides for development and analysis of reliability of structures and it also contributed to the development of the standards (ISO, Eurocodes, etc.).

Thursday, 13th of March 2008, at EDF R&D – Clamart, took place the 15th day of the users of Code_Aster. The day was organized around two main axes: presentation of new functionalities of the last stabilized version and presentation of studies.
